Reflections on Digital Organization, Productivity & Daily Life

Discover how organizing digital records, managing to-do lists, and embracing daily routines can boost productivity and well-being in everyday life.

Well… Another day is done. And… What have I got to show for it? Uh… This page for a start. I also cleaned out my Audio Journal folder on OneDrive and moved the stuff I wanted to keep into my Daily Records folder; breaking stuff down by file type; MP3 files going in the MP3 directory, etc.

I’ve reached the conclusion that I really don’t need to work so hard at keeping records as I’ve been. Doing dream analysis all in MP3 audio format for example. “Why?”

If I keep going the way I am I’m just going to burn out. I have computers with search built into them. So, I can pretty much find what I need to with a little tweaking. I just need to get it together with my understanding of how best to do searches in Windows 10. OneDrive is a no brainer. But I could stand to brush up a bit more about doing searches there as well.

This brings me to an important point. “I do need to get back into setting up a to-do list.”

True! I could just do one here. But that can get complicated. So, I’ll just need to set it up as a document on its own with a creative title like, “To Do List.”

As it is right now… I need to set up the list, get my banking updated as I haven’t added my $60 withdrawal to my records yet, and look online to see if there’s any mention of Robin Sharma’s recommended Sleep Ritual. He has some kind of diagram drawn in the 5 AM Club enhancement that’s useless with JAWS or Voiceover. So… Hopefully someone has written something that will give me a clue.

Mom has had a reaction to her second COVID shot. But… I’m thinking she should feel better tomorrow. I hear the reactions involving headaches and fever don’t usually go beyond 24 hours. But… “We shall see.”

I need to get my ass in gear with placing an Amazon order, too. Thanks to Marilyn; I’m now up an extra $50; her sending me a check for my birthday. So, that will help offset the expense of what I have in mind. She says my regular payment will be in the mail, tomorrow, too. “Got to call and thank my people when this stuff arrives,” which means we talked after I pulled the card and check out of my mailbox. “God is good.”

Beyond all this? “Tomorrow begins another day.”
