Some days I can’t believe Microsoft even has the balls to charge for some of their software, Copilot in particular. I do feel sorry for the folks who pay the subscription fee because the free version’s performance doesn’t really inspire faith in the product, “Especially when it starts telling you it cannot do what Microsoft advertises it can.”
In particular, I’m talking about its supposed capability to access what is open in Microsoft Edge. Some days it can do it and other days, “It won’t.”
The button for uploading documents has yet to reappear in the app as well and I’m more convince than ever that companies like Microsoft are exaggerating their claims as to what AI can do, while teaching the software to blame the user for the shortcomings of the programmers who have designed it.
I did not misunderstand the written words on Microsoft’s own website or within the interface of the app itself. When a software developer says a package can do XY&Z, “I expect it to do just that!”
However, Microsoft seems to think it’s ok to hoist even a free version of software on everyone that doesn’t live up to the hype. To make things even worse, Microsoft and other companies seem to be using their software to push a social agenda that an elite few thinks will be acceptable to God only knows who but I’m pretty sure, “It isn’t those of us Americans who still have a working brain.”
Humans from other worlds, if they are even paying more than just passive attention to this planet right now, are probably laughing their asses off at our Woke American society because we’ve fucked up the birds and the bees so badly the average kid born today is guaranteed to be so confused as to weather or not they are a boy or girl they will more than likely want to shoot themselves in the head by the time they are twenty just to end the frustration of having to deal with the stupidity of binary thinking AI is promoting. “It’s pathetic!”
Search engines for years have given folks the option as to which results they want filtered out. “Now all of a sudden we are too stupid to choose for ourselves simply because the software is called Artificial Intelligence?”
It would seem to me that the only real danger with AI right now is the morons profiting from their promotion of it and the bullshit propaganda programming they are building into it that we’re clearly not supposed to notice. “Are we now living in 1960s China?”
