Sunday, January 18, 2026: 7:23 AM: I’m guessing that there’s a strong possibility that a major weather event will be taking place soon, me feeling reasonably certain that I will not be working with or dating anyone employed by the CIA in any future reality. I could be wrong though. Of course, the dream could be a sign I’m being spied on, but I didn’t feel that was the case when I woke from the vision.

I did kill off an unknown entity in another vision this morning, which could simply be an indication of possibly having to successfully crush a likely challenge from a none disclosed source. “I’m totally cool with that!”

I’ve got everything from December 7th until the present currently posted to the new version of Brian Schnabel’s Head Space. I am pleased to see that the search engines are picking up on the changes and massive attacks against that account are cutting back to a dull roar for the moment. Part of me is thinking that I should create a file generator. But the other part of me is saying, “The less automation the better.”

Yesterday, I didn’t even turn on my laptop. I used my iPhone to make some updates to the server via WHM and took a look at server records through cPanel. However, I’m really starting to think that Saturdays should be mostly disconnected days. My phone has the adaptive software I need in it to function as a blind person, and Safari is more than sufficient for handling basic tasks when warranted. Anything major? Well… Unless we’re talking about an emergency… “Leaving the computer off for one whole day won’t kill me or it!”

Tomorrow, I need to activate my new Mastercard and update all accounts associated with it. I’m thinking about using it for all online transactions, personal and professional, while keeping my discover card for over the phone and in person transactions. My Visa could be used for… Well… I’m not sure about that. Maybe Apple Pay transactions? “That will work!”

Bank of America seems to give its customers plenty of time to transition from expiring credit cards to new ones, while a company like PNC cuts the issuance of replacement cards close to the wire. Discover? Well… We’ll find out how they like to play it soon.

PNC though… Between the behavior of their website and branch managers… That’s a company I’m beginning to trust less and less as time goes on. I don’t like being bullshitted as a customer and the site screams, “Cheap Content Management System.”

On research and read Tuesday, I’m thinking I’ll finish the rest of Mel Robins book, “The Let Them Theory.” So far, it’s been a pretty good read, and I didn’t have any dreams about trash, rotted food, or landfills so I’m thinking it’s safe to continue reading this one.

Wednesday, I think I’ll use to check on client websites, Marilyn’s machine, make sure my own stuff is up to scratch around here and continue back posting to Brian Schnabel’s Head Space. “Computer updates and creating New Webpages fit nicely into the theme of a typical Programming Wednesday.”

Thursday, I’ll need to get the laundry done. Back Posting Friday will be for adding more pages to Brian Schnabel’s Head Space. Come Screw off Saturday? Well… I’ll worry about that later in the week.

I like my days of the week: Journal Update Sunday, Financial Monday, Read and Research Tuesday, Programming Wednesday, Housekeeping Thursday, Back Posting Friday, and Screw Off Saturday. “That works for me!”

Sunday, January 18, 2026: 11:12 AM: I’ve got Brian Schnabel’s Head Space updated with last week’s journal entries and will deal with the sitemap.xml file on Programming Wednesday. “It’s not even noon time yet!”

On this week’s Read and Research Tuesday, I’ve decided that I’m going to add The Celestine Proficy and The Tenth Insight to my Audible wish list. Kathryn Mundell had read The Celestine Proficy to me back in 1995 when I lived with her and I would like to read it again to refresh myself on the books content before I read The Tenth Insight. I want to say Redfield is the author’s last name for both of those titles, but I’ll worry about all that on Tuesday. Just because the relationship with Kathryn Mundell ended badly doesn’t mean I should turn my back on a partially completed book series that did interest me.

Sunday, January 18, 2026: 11:26 AM: Looking at how my weeks are structured thus far this year, it’s clear to me that I’ve got a rhythm that works: Each day carved out for certain tasks and time to check in with myself. If I’m honest, I could stand to lean even harder into those “disconnected” days, really letting myself step away from the tech and work stuff to actually recharge, rather than just shifting screens.

How to do that without hamstringing myself though. That is the big question. Technology helps me see. So how can I set things up so I can continue to function with tech and yet accomplish a reasonable semblance of disconnectedness?

Since I’m already making progress reorganizing my days and am looking forward to picking up that unfinished book series, should I raise the bar by setting some simple goals for finishing the series, or for tackling other ongoing projects? Will doing that actually help me keep my motivation up and help me more clearly map the progress I’m making? Or would it simply lead to more burnout?

At this point, I’m thinking it might be smarter to let intuitive guidance lead the way. I’m getting sleep. I’m getting things done. For now, “I feel like that should be good enough.”

When it comes to dealing with banks and service providers, maybe it’s worth channeling any aggravation into speaking up and making sure my needs are heard, rather than letting the stress pile up from issues that just keep hanging around. Or perhaps it’s time I tell PNC Bank to stick it up its ass sideways and find a better financial institution to do business with.

Maybe PayPal will become a more viable option going forward given what I’ve heard in the press lately? Or Perhaps Chase Bank is worth a look. Wells Fargo is down the road from me too. “Maybe one of these will have something better to offer?”
