The Magic of Imagination: Feeling the Fury of Racing Thoughts

Monday, June 22, 2026: 9:45 AM: Despite a nice brisk walk this morning, my fury with matters of family, church and state is still something to behold. We all have racing thoughts about others from time to time, sometimes in our imaginations doing the most horrific things to those we know to be a threat to us. Does this make us bad or somehow mentally unstable?

So long as it all remains in our imaginations, the obvious answer is, “No.” Therefore, I’ll continue treating these intrusive, racing thoughts as a warning, let my response play out in my mind, and trust the magic of imagination to do the rest.
