Friday, October 2, 2026: 5:37 AM: Sleep is such an overrated thing. 3 hours and 18 minutes of it is all I got this morning. I give up. Fuck it. If I sleep, I sleep and if I don’t I don’t. “I’m done.”
Is there a way to get things under control? I’ve been asking that question for a few years now.
Getting any kind of help with it from a licensed professional is out of the question. The medical profession is a joke at this point. “They can all go to hell.”
So, what do I know about this issue?
- One night I will sleep a lot and the next I will sleep only a little.
- Taking calls from people who constantly bitch or are simply so full of shit it’s downright annoying isn’t helping me relax.
- Thinking I’m going to get anything real done with technology close to bedtime is a joke: when I really want something done fast is most often when the PC is likely to screw up and outside of audio recording with my phone, it’s just not happening.
- Catching up with sleep during the day isn’t helping my cause at all.
- No matter what I do at night, my body is hit or miss as to whether it will actually shut down or not.
- My neighbors are fucking assholes: doing laundry late at night not even considering the fact that their washer is shaking more than just their own apartment contributes.
- Doing meditations before bedtime doesn’t help.
- Reading books before bedtime doesn’t help.
- Drinking myself into oblivion doesn’t work and is too expensive to do consistently given the amount of alcohol involved.
What can I do about this issue?
- Find something else to focus my attention on.
- Find something to do that doesn’t feel like an uphill battle, which is just about everything these days.
- Find seven nymphomaniacs that need to be fucked senseless every day.
Beyond that? I’m not sure.
Finding people that “Fuel My Joy” isn’t really an option anymore. “I’m Done Peopling!”
