I love a good thunderstorm, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed by the storms that rolled through the neighborhood today. I wasn’t out on the front porch when the main event took place, which is just as well. Even though the porch has an overhang, “I would have gotten pretty wet!”

Emotional mechanics: Storms and celebrations while tuning up.

The fish sticks and shrimp have been delivered to my friend’s apartment and Mom’s card is in the mail. It’s hard to believe that Mother’s Day is only a week and a half away. But everything I needed to do is now done with a little help from a friend and yet, “I feel mentally fried this evening!”

Pacing cars and coffee: Navigating the unpredictable.

On my way home this evening I had a rather interesting thing happen by the courthouse. A car headed my way began pacing me for a good twenty feet. Thinking they might have wanted something, I slowed a bit and looked over at them, noting there was no car in front of them to warrant the action. As soon as I did, “They took off rather quickly!”

I think I’ve listened to JAWS for Windows 2024 for more than enough time today. I’ve been coding for most of the day, working with Microsoft’s AI to get the ball rolling. And… Once again, “Things clicked!”

Today we call walking in a light rain a win.

As I stepped out of building 2 here at Newtonian Gardens at 5:10 PM this evening to meet up with friends for dinner, the light rain and wind greeted me with a gentle caress, a stark contrast to the usual downpour that urges one to seek shelter. The soft drizzle was a welcome companion as I made my way through the busy streets; the teleprompter awake in my head and guiding me as to which way would be the safest to go to my destination. “Think of this teleprompter like a GPS giving up to the minute traffic reports and you’ll get the picture.”
