Blind Blogger on Blogging Stress: I Don’t Always Have to Post

Friday, June 26, 2026: 3:29 PM: At times I do have to remember that just because I have a blog, doesn’t mean I always have to post to it. Right now, I am back posting and currently posting because I have enough material to do so.

AI, 3D Printing, and Sailboat Design: Blindness Doesn’t Have to Stop Childhood Dreams After All

Friday, June 26, 2026: 2:55 PM: I realized my childhood dream of designing or building sailboats could be achieved with AI-enabled 3D printing software. Obviously, the 3D printer would need to be a part of the setup as well so I could generate models I could feel to ensure AI is interpreting my ideas correctly.

Naturally, too, it would probably cost me something like $5000-$7000 to get things setup. But, in another 2 or 3 years, it would be doable.

Accessibility That Surprised Me: Receiving My First Braille Credit Card

Thursday, June 25, 2026: 3:52 PM: I got laughing when I took a replacement credit card out of the mail the other day and activated it. When Discover asked me what style I wanted, I selected the braille option. When I made the selection, I figured they had just done something clever with the braille, making a decorative pattern out of it.

Unlocking Mental Clarity Through Focused Body Regulation

Thursday, June 25, 2026: 9:39 AM: I had a vision yesterday morning about using NIVEA to wash my hair in my bathroom sink. This doesn’t surprise me because I have purchased their hair and body wash for men from Amazon very recently and have begun using it. In reality, there’s no way I could ever wash my hair in the bathroom sink because it’s too small for that. Then, after this morning’s vision of overcoming a heart attack in my living room with my mind, the message behind these visions became clear.

Quick Indoor Cycling for Stress Relief: Why I Wear Spin Shoes All Day at Home

Thursday, June 25, 2026: 9:52 AM: I’m walking around my apartment with spin shoes on today so when I want to use the bike for short intervals of 3-5 minutes at a time, I can do so without having to waste time taking them on and off. They are pretty comfortable to wear. They just feel a little weird to be walking around in, me originally having bought the spin shoes for use at Retro Fitness, when there was a gym here in Newton NJ.

Search Engin Optimizations: Adjusting Number of WordPress Posts Displayed

Wednesday, June 24, 2026: 7:16 AM: I’ve always suspected that Automatic had a method behind their madness when they set WordPress with a default of 10 posts per page out of the box. Thanks to Microsoft years ago, I also know that search engines still favor shorter posts that are direct and to the point, 500 words or less. So, I analyzed Brian Schnabel’s Head Space’s main page using what I know and adjusted the post number displayed. Of course, after decades of raw server record observation, I know a few other things, too.

Functional Furniture Upgrade Needed

Wednesday, June 24, 2026: 6:33 AM: As I walk around this apartment it occurs  to me that outside  of a oak Ethan Allen dining room table from 1983, my furniture is basically functional crap. I do like the glass top desk I bought from Staples and put together with my neighbor, Bill Ward, back in 2012. The bed is good, too, but I can’t spend all day there. “Or can I?”
