It’s been an interesting day to say the least. But… I did get stuff accomplished. Most of my accounts are now secure beyond a doubt, I’ve been posting to this site every single day since April 11th, spinning for thirty minutes late this evening, and checking a client’s computer for a possible virus along the way. “Remote Desktop works well with JAWS for Windows!”

Times Square tragedy: Unheeded signs in The Mental Health Profession.
Trevor Bickford, a 20-year-old man, carried out a premeditated attack on three NYPD officers with a machete-style knife on New Year’s Eve of 2022. This act of violence occurred near Times Square during one of the city’s most iconic celebrations and, “Trevor told Mental Health Professionals he was going to do it!”

As annoying as little yapper dogs can be sometimes, they do have their place. At first, when my downstairs neighbor’s dog started barking at 1:00 AM, I thought it was because the floor creaked a little as I walked from my desk in the bedroom towards the kitchen of my apartment. Hardwood floors do that in old buildings when it’s damp out, “No matter how careful you try to be!”

In the realm of productivity software, Microsoft 365 stands out with its suite of applications that promise to enhance our work efficiency. This evening, after returning from a pleasant evening out, I arrived back home and returned a phone call before opening my email; discovering a Microsoft advertisement for Copilot Pro, a subscription service within Microsoft 365, claiming Copilot has revolutionized the user experience with AI in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

One of the things I noticed last night when I went up to this website is that I really need to refine my technique using the WordPress app. Using dictation has its drawbacks when someone is going by on a Harley. But, I noted, too that a few critical mistakes didn’t appear in the app that were very apparent on the site when I went to add another post.

Well… Here we are, finally done coding for the week, I think. I generated a robots.txt file and sitemap.xml file this morning to direct indexing traffic. Yeah… You might say, “I’m telling Google and Bing exactly where to go!”

I wasn’t aware of this until this evening, but it would seem that Users of Copilot have been experiencing intermittent issues with the file upload button. This button is essential for uploading and sharing files within the Copilot interface, especially for Pro users. And… Yeah… “Useful for a few of us amateurs who would like that button back, too!”

Today was one of those days where the hours just flew by. My mission was clear: Me wanting to fortify my website against unwanted digital trespassers. cPanel allows for blocking of certain pain in the ass bots and overly annoying cyber stalkers alike by IP address. But I knew, “I could do better than that!”

They say that writing down three good things that happened during a day are a good way to end it. Dinner with friends at Brookside Terrace, getting at least three good blog posts posted on this site, and actually enjoying the three mile walk through Newton NJ, weather and all…

While doing laundry, I’ve been backing up all WordPress and none-WordPress websites hosted on my servers. You never know when the creak is going to rise and having everyone’s stuff backed up is a beautiful thing. “Cloud storage in multiple secure locations totally rocks!”
My all night success story working the art of productivity.
Who says you need a full night’s sleep to be productive in society? I’m starting to wonder why I bother with sleep at all. “It certainly has little use for me!”

I personally believe that JAWS for Windows Version 2024 has seen a significant upgrade with the introduction of the Face in View feature, finally putting it on par with the image related capabilities of the VoiceOver screen reader built into Apple’s iPhones and other products. This innovative feature is designed to enhance the video conferencing experience for visually impaired users, ensuring they are perfectly positioned within the camera’s view during calls.

Well… PHP Version 7.4 has been upgraded to 8.3 on all websites I host for other people. I’m pretty sure my WordPress clients will be happy to know this as it does generally mean a safer and more efficient operating environment for all of us on the server. cPanel’s handy dandy Multi PHP Manager certainly makes managing stuff like this a breeze so, “It’s all good!”
MySQL WordPress mystery can wait.
I’m thinking I can afford to wait and see what happens, WordPress reporting that the SQL database on the server is out of date. However, from what I can see, things are up to scratch on the server side of the equations. So… Having recently been notified that PHP on the server is being updated for enhanced safer performance, and having made the necessary adjustments on my end… As far as the issues WordPress has with MySQL … “Well… It will keep!”
