Quietude and Clancy: An easy concentration day.

Today went reasonably well, me spending most of it reading Tom Clancy’s Debt of Honor. It was mostly quiet around the building, making it easy to concentrate, too. I also made a trip to Hayek’s Market for a BLT and got some time in spinning this evening, as well. I think I might need to slow down with the grapes just a bit, having blown through a large bag of them in under 18 hours. “Ups!”

But it’s the apples, oranges, grapes, and stuff like that in moderation which kind of helps keep the blood clean and stabilizes digestion for me. So… I need to make an assertive effort going forward to keep more of it around. Over the past month or so I’ve been slacking a bit. My body has been letting me know it, too. So… Um… “Recalculating!”

Overall, it’s been a good day. My head hasn’t been racing nearly as much as it’s been for the past few days, “And that alone is a beautiful thing!”

I’m getting there by setting boundaries and extricating myself from conversations at appropriate times. I can feel when I’ve been triggered early on now, which helps a lot.

I’ve still got a ways to go in some areas of my life. But, even on the worst days, when I’ve hit an extremely low point the mood recovery time is getting quicker and quicker.

This tells me the newly modified tools are working. “Progress is good!”
