Interpreting Rainy Encounters: A Neighborhood Vision Story

Discover the meaning behind a rainy-day encounter, dreams, and the significance of numbers for Newtonian Gardens Apartments tenant, Brian Schnabel, in predicting travel risks in his neighborhood.

It was overcast outside, probably sometime between 3:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon, local time. I had just turned onto West End Avenue and was heading home to Newtonian Gardens. At the corner of West End Avenue and Thompson, I spotted Ricky standing on my left. He greeted me and commented that it was going to rain soon. I replied that I intended to get home before the rain started, quickly reached over to shake his hand as I passed by, and continued on my way. It was a friendly, playful exchange, and the vision ended with my clear intention to make it home before getting caught in the rain.

Interpretation: I suspect that, first, I’m likely to run into Ricky again soon—that seems like a strong possibility. Second, at some point in the next few days, I may face hazardous travel conditions during or just before a weather event. This is because Ricky lives at 17 West End Avenue, and the number 17 often signals dangerous travel conditions for me. So, heading out before a pending rainstorm might be a little risky for me over the next few days.
