I woke from a vision around 11:30 this morning in which I found myself at a college dormitory. My old Seeing Eye Dog, Shelby, was in a dorm room. I had stepped out for something, and when I returned, she was there waiting. As I came in though, “She was quietly growling.”
Two gentlemen were sitting on a small blue sofa to my right. Shelby lay directly ahead of me on the floor near the back wall of the room. I leaned down to speak with her and said, “I know what you’re doing. I hear you, and I don’t like it.”
At that moment, Shelby stood up and licked my left forearm. She was positioned so that her head faced my left arm while the rest of her body was crosswise in front of me. Then she bowed her head, almost as if to say, “Okay, I’m sorry. I won’t do it again, or at least I’ll try not to.”
I clipped on her leash and walked her over to the two college-aged young men. Apparently, one of them had tried to pet her while I was gone, which had caused her to growl at him. As we approached, Shelby suddenly shifted from walking at my left side to pushing her way between my legs so that we both faced the men on the couch.
She stepped forward, sniffed the one I gave permission to pet her, and then abruptly pulled back. I could feel her body trembling between my lower legs. As the dream ended, I remember thinking, maybe she’s onto something here.
The gentleman showed no reaction to her growling, and his friend seated beside him didn’t either.
Interpretation: Dog equals me. Me equals God. Sometimes God can change his mind about situations I guess, “Right?” That’s what the Old Testament of The Bible demonstrates, anyway. What threat did the young men demonstrate? Does this have something to do with me in a real-time situation or my niece? “I have no fucking idea!”
