I’m pretty sure at least a few people out there are aware that the human mind is a frontier of endless possibilities. Among its many capabilities is a phenomenon folks have heard me talk about in the past known as Remote Viewing (RV), a psychic ability that allows a person to perceive distant or unseen targets. This ability transcends the constraints of time and space, offering a possible glimpse into the unknown. “These glimpses are not guaranteed or always accurate.”
In the 1960s, Ingo Swann, a pioneer in the field, developed a structured method known as Coordinate Remote Viewing (CRV). Unlike other forms of RV, CRV is a teachable skill that doesn’t rely on inherent psychic abilities. The Defense Intelligence Agency’s Project “SUN STREAK” refined CRV training, enabling individuals to achieve remarkable accuracy in viewing remote locations.
CRV training spans approximately six months and is divided into six progressive stages. Each stage enhances the viewer’s abilities, from discerning basic terrain features to interpreting sensory impressions and recognizing dimensions at the target site. Advanced stages introduce abstract concepts and offer more flexibility in training. “I never did take the training!”
Ideally, CRV is a team effort, with each session involving a monitor and a viewer. The monitor guides the viewer, ensuring they remain focused on the target. The viewer, in an altered state, uses their psychic abilities to describe the target. When I run a session, “It’s just me and a digital recorder!”
At the heart of CRV theory lies the concept of “the Matrix,” an all-encompassing source that holds information about everything. It’s envisioned as a celestial library or a cosmic database, containing “Patterns” that emit unique energy signals. These signals are what viewers perceive during a CRV session.
I can certainly attest to the fact that physical and mental conditions can inhibit the flow of information from the unconscious to the conscious mind. I would certainly agree with material that points out that to ensure effective viewing, it’s essential to minimize these inhibitors and maintain optimal mental and physical health for more successful RV sessions and in general.
While CRV may not conform to conventional scientific standards, its effectiveness is supported by session reports and historical data. While it would seem the United States Government claims RV is part of parapsychology (pseudo-science) it certainly never stopped them from investing over twenty-five million dollars that we know of and running an RV program for at least twenty-five years for defense purposes. Personally, “I have reason to believe they spent a hell of a lot more money on RV’s implementation and that it is still being used!”
When I do a remote viewing session I experience a bunch of fragmented visions, and occasionally full visions with life like perception. I leave a digital recorder running during these sessions so that I can verbally describe things as I experience them and put the pieces to the puzzle together upon recording review once the session is over. “I sound like a drunken sailor in these recordings!”
From all the material I’ve read, I wouldn’t really be a suitable candidate for an RV course, it hindering my ability to perceive more than helping me because I’ve already established certain patterns in my mind where this kind of thing is concerned. But… I have looked at the course material and gotten some useful tidbits from it. “And that’s the story on that!”
