I stayed up all night looking for sound files that would augment the effectiveness of my latest audio project, a custom guided meditation file. The selection of sound files on the internet these days really sucks and the quality of what they are charging for is something that… Uhm… “I wouldn’t let my dog listen to that crap!”
Not everything should be for sale. But, as I was discussing with my niece yesterday, we are clearly operating in a time when people seem to think that they should get paid extra for handing you a cup of coffee. “It’s pathetic!”
In any event, while surfing I began looking at other guided meditations online, some put out by universities. “Nun that I heard carried any kind of disclaimer!”
So… Maybe there’s hope for society yet. “If ivy league colleges don’t think society is that stupid yet maybe I shouldn’t either.”
I mean, most people know they shouldn’t close their eyes and meditate while driving, “Right?” That would be stupid and akin to throwing your car keys to a blind guy like me and saying, “Pick me up out front.”
As far as what people should charge for goes… Well… If you are going to stare at me in dumbfounded fascination as I go about my business in town, I want a tip for that because I’m providing you with entertainment.
Don’t argue. You know I’m right. After all, “Blind people really are fun to watch!”
