Sleepless but making progress: The hustle continues.

“Again!” No sleep last night. The body just wasn’t shutting down. But… I did catch a 3 hour nap this afternoon. “Next door was up pretty much all night, too!”

I give up trying to figure out this sleep cycle business. “It is what it is!”

So… I ran some meditations and then finally played ESP Trainer for about two hours on my phone. At around 6:00 AM or so, “I then got up to start my day!”

My latest project is going well, me not getting as far with things last night as I wanted. But I did learn some new tricks with Audacity involving a function called Paulstretch.

This effect can be used to slow down or lengthen audio. It does tend to give everything a more ambient sound but the work around I found for eliminating that part of the equation is to split the stereo track into two mono tracks. “Then delete one of them.”

While Paulstretch, Change Pitch and Speed, plus Change Tempo are all really meant for lengthening sound made by musical instruments, I’ve found that Paulstretch works best on human sounds. “Just don’t expect to take a human audio track and double or triple the length of it with positive results.”

So, while I’ve slowed down a bit with posting to Brian Schnabel’s Head Space thus far today… Yeah… “Things are happening!”
