Whispers of the woods: Wielding the sword few do.

I just got done doing a meditation while listening to Forest, Birds & Stream from the Nature Sounds for Relaxation Meditation Healing & Sleep album, which is published by Sounds of Beautiful World. It runs for an hour and ten minutes and can be found on Amazon along with a bunch of other sound tracks just like it. It was one of many awesome finds I’ve discovered on their website and handy for meditation and drowning out the more distracting or unpleasant sounds in my environment. “I’ve got a whole nature sounds playlist setup for this house!”

Tonight’s meditation was just for relaxation. I wasn’t seeking anything specific and didn’t really have anything meaningful come via the fragmented visions I experienced other than one segment in which I was telling someone I wheeled a sword that few do. But that’s really nothing new or even noteworthy at this point. “I already know that!”

But the reminder was appreciated, and we don’t want to discount the positive, no matter how old the message. I really do need to get my ass in gear and start writing a script I can use to record guided meditations for posting online.

As I sit here with a pulse running between 55 and 60, I wonder just how far I should go, as I usually start out all of my meditations with an Our Father. How many people would lose the benefit of discovering my style of meditation simply because I am working from a Christian based platform; most folks not realizing my little secret.

What I’ve grown to understand about God and the way the world truly works under the hood would make most church pastors want to burn me at the stake, if only they could. Of course, if I’d been born three hundred years earlier, I probably would have been burned at the stake anyway, so maybe it just doesn’t matter.

Why worry about it at this point? I have no idea. “It’s time to just do it and be done.”
