Thanks to Microsoft years ago, I also know that search engines still favor shorter posts that are direct and to the point, 500 words or less. So, I analyzed Brian Schnabel’s Head Space’s main page using what I know and adjusted the post number displayed. Of course, after decades of raw server record observation, I know a few other things, too.
But, given my style of writing, displaying 7 posts on the main page and each paginated page thereafter is good enough for now. AI may be shifting some search engine behaviors, but my experience with Microsoft Copilot in particular tells me my thinking is sound.
