iPhone Ghost Email plus Questionable Microsoft 365 Mobile App Accessibility

Sunday, August 16, 2026: 11:26 AM: In an effort to correct an issue with my iPhone involving an email profile installed by cPanel, which apparently corrupted something in iOS, I’ve taken the journey to reinstall Microsoft 365 applications back on my iPhone. As I am writing a book, I figured it might help, but seeing what I have to do to work with Microsoft Word at the moment, I can’t say I’m all that impressed with this application suite in general. Maybe this stuff works better on a Mac? Or… maybe I just need to stick with this a bit longer to get the hang of things. I’m not really sure. “We shall see.”

With regard to what some would refer to as my ghost default email address, courtesy of cPanel’s email configuration file, that issue has yet to resolve itself. But… now that the Mail app is completely out of the picture and Microsoft Outlook is the replacement default, maybe things will be different when my iPhone finally updates to what I’m sure will be the latest and greatest iOS 27. “Maybe.”
