Monday, August 31, 2026: 9:28 AM: I found myself awake around 4:00 AM and decided to have another go at traveling astral. It was a no go. However, feeling compelled to drop back off to sleep around 5:30 AM, the dreams I had were pretty clear as to why.
Apparently, this has everything to do with emotions. I don’t always know what I’m feeling. Or perhaps the more honest answer is that I don’t often care to know what I’m feeling. If it’s not blatantly obvious, I’ve never really bothered to concern myself with that aspect of me.
One reason for this is perhaps that, as far back as I can remember, my feelings have always been an afterthought for everyone else around me. I think the first time I was ever asked how I felt about something was by a therapist or perhaps maybe even a school teacher. I don’t know.
Mom seemed to be able to intuit where I was emotionally. But I don’t recall us ever having any real dialogue that directly involved the feelings we had about any given situation, although we discussed many. Talking about feelings is not something I recall as a part of my upbringing.
The bottom line here is simple. Screw the past. It doesn’t matter how I got to this point. I’m here and the only one who is going to do anything to help me is me.
Therefore, the path is clear, and this morning’s dreams/visions have laid it out plainly. If I am to access my gift to a more reliable and greater degree, “Personal Emotional Acknowledgement is Key!”
I’m not writing out the dreams I had here because I am already working on my bestselling novel, which I’ve slated for release in January. But one of the major tip-offs was the fact that Allen was there. I was climbing an extension ladder at one point in a vision to reach him and the attic he was in. Allen is dead and has been since 2020. The ladder was shaky, and I did eventually make the climb at the expense of a broken cane.
Carol, his wife, is still living and was below, sitting at a table on a concrete slab in the middle of an indoor lake. I didn’t want to drop my cane in the water because I didn’t want to go in after it later, assuming I could even find it at the bottom of the lake.
These facts about the vision were key in and of themselves. That’s not even counting the fact that it was a vision inside a dream/vision which involved me waking and deciding to write it all down.
Why are these facts the key to it all? That answer is simple.
- The Astral Plane is Spiritual. To get there while living requires a certain mindset so you can reach it while still breathing.
- The spiritual dimension is where things like telepathy take place. I was making calls to get a new cane on my iPhone once I reached the attic.
- The concrete slab where my cane broke upon landing certainly pertains to my being grounded in the physical, my cane representing my ability to sense the physical world around me.
I believe the cane breaking on the slab lets me know that allowing my senses to range solely in the physical without consideration for the emotional is taking its toll on me. Climbing up to Allen on a shaky ladder lets me know that, while astral travel in my current state is possible, it will continue to be difficult if I don’t do a better job of dealing with the emotional. It shows, too, that other aspects of my gift will continue to be difficult to work with as well.
So, where to go from here? Well, since I’ve noticed while writing this that I tend to treat being in water in my dreams and visions as dangerous most of the time, I need to figure out what to do about this. In short, I need to deal with my emotions in a more effective fashion than I am at the moment. Therapy really didn’t do much to help me out with that.
However, I’m guessing that focusing on being emotionally grounded by water during meditations will lead to some enlightening insights and experiences that will help with this going forward. “So that I shall do!”
