Thursday, September 10, 2026: 7:13 AM: There used to be a time when I’d take my VersaBraille II+ to bed with me, writing term papers and other things for my college classes. I used to write a journal there, too. I haven’t done that kind of thing in years, even though I’ve had laptops for a while. However, as I struggle to pull my head together to sit at my desk and work on my book more this morning, it occurs to me that “sitting at my desk” is the problem. If I could write a term paper in bed, why not work on a book in the same relaxed posture? After all, I do have a K380 keyboard and JBL headset, making it unnecessary to take the entire computer to bed with me, “Right?”
