Thursday, June 4, 2026: 6:08 AM: Having started yesterday, I’m going to continue working on this PC. It still hangs for a while at login, and it seems to revolve around the time it takes to connect to the internet, which is about 2 minutes.
I suspect that this has everything to do with JAWS for Windows 2026.2605.43 (Script Revision: 0) as that’s when the fun started. I’d call Vispero about it, but they have proven to me in the past that taking responsibility for their programming screwups isn’t one of their strong suits.
I think though, I’m on the track to finally understanding exactly what’s causing the problem, complete with resolution. I am looking forward to knowing for sure by 5:00 PM.
