Microsoft 365 Tools: Beginning my journey with Dictation in Word.

Today I realized that I need to start making better use of the tools That Microsoft 365 has to offer, like the dictation tool in this application, Microsoft Word. In the short term, working with the dictation tool in Microsoft Word might slow me down with my writing.

However, in the long run, once I get all the kinks worked out of things with regard to using Dictation in Microsoft Word, I’m pretty sure that I’ll be able to write things at a much faster clip. It will probably also help me with my podcast creation, too.

I have no doubt that certain features, like Microsoft’s Auto Punctuation, may tend to screw me when working with the dictation software. But since when has Microsoft software ever been as accurate as their competitions?

So, I’m going to have to play with some of the settings to see what works the best. I don’t know if this software will ever be as reliable as the software in my iPhone. But you don’t know until you try different things.
