At Dunkin’ Donuts: Sleepless Newton, New Jersey road wanderer.

I had the most incredible dream this morning, me transitioning from Dreamstate to being wide-awake as smooth as you please. Not even so much as a bump in the road, so to speak. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t fall back to sleep after that, “Me feeling rather energized by said dream!”

I woke at 2:35 AM from the dream and, while lying in bed reveling in the sensations it generated within my body, I had the sense that I should get up out of bed and write it down. So I did that. But… When I went to go back to sleep, I just couldn’t shut down again.

Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I took a peek at my server records before going back to sleep. Yeah… That probably generated way too much brain activity because it then got me to thinking about more efficient ways to block IP addresses coming from Amazon web services, which I did come up with a method of doing by the way.

So… After laying around for an hour, I decided to get my ass out of bed and come down to Dunkin’ Donuts off of route 206 here in Newton New Jersey. I rather enjoyed the walk around 5 AM in the morning. Traffic was exceedingly light, and those cars that were on the road were most cooperative.

It’s nice down here at this hour. In someways I wouldn’t mind if it became a habit. But… Preferably a habit, “Only if I get at least five hours’ worth of sleep first.”
