Embrace the storm: Become one with nature’s fury.

I love a good thunderstorm, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed by the storms that rolled through the neighborhood today. I wasn’t out on the front porch when the main event took place, which is just as well. Even though the porch has an overhang, “I would have gotten pretty wet!”

When I did go outside, the first storm was leaving, and a second storm seemed to be just sliding on by. It dumped some rain but nothing like what the first storm delivered.

I love the feel of the air when it’s raining outside. I love the feeling of a thunderstorm even more, allowing the sensation of the storm to travel through my entire body. “It’s my idea of a good time!”

Using a few tried and true techniques to help me quickly get down to Center when sitting outside during one of these storms? That generally helps my trip along. Feeling the static in the air, the vibration from the Thunder, “It’s all just so priceless!”

If that isn’t enough, I love building upon that by Allowing myself to sense my connection with the chair I’m sitting in, the chair’s connection to the ground and the ground’s connection with everything else around me. As it is, I’m what many in the Silva Mind Control Program would call an Alphaholic, which is somebody who gets off on regularly lowering their brain frequency to about 10 cycles or lower per second with full conscious awareness. “Think mindfulness plus here!”

Why just watch a storm? If you can, “Become one with it!”
