I’m clearly having another round with Cyclical Depression. But I give it another week and a half, if that, before things even out again. “At least I know it’s happening.”
It is true that this one has hit four to six weeks early. But the holidays are looming so maybe that has a lot to do with it. “I’ve always rather disliked the holidays!”
Maybe some day I’ll feel different about Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. But, in my past experience, if any major personal bullshit in my life is going to start, “It’s guaranteed to be then!”
