Unlocking intuition: A journey with ESP Trainer.

I discovered this game called ESP Trainer while reading about a government project involving Remote Viewing. So, in the latter part of 2020, I installed it on my iPhone figuring it shouldn’t be too hard to work with given the fact that Apple requires a reasonable amount of accessibility be built into apps offered through their app store. And… Yeah… “It certainly does work reasonably well with VoiceOver!”

While represented as a game, ESP Trainer is a tool designed to enhance our extrasensory projection (ESP) abilities. The brainchild of Russell Targ, a renowned physicist and parapsychologist, this game has its origins in a NASA program at the Stanford Research Institute.

Here’s how it works: the game displays four colored squares, and each trial involves one square being randomly selected by the game. My task is to use my intuition to guess the correct square. When I get it right, the game rewards me with a chime, which they say should be accompanied by a vibration, and a vibrant picture. But… Some things are kind of lost on us blind folk and others are no doubt suppressed by VoiceOver.

They also say that If I’m wrong, it’s supposed to show me the correct square before moving on to the next trial. But… Again… “Some things are just lost on us blind folk!”

The history of ESP Trainer is interesting. It’s based on a year-long NASA program that involved 145 subjects trying to improve their psychic scores with a machine similar to this game. The results? Some participants significantly improved their scores and 4 out of 145 actually got to the point of being able to score 100% consistently over time. “That’s what I read, anyway.”

Russell Targ’s contributions to psychic research go beyond this game. He was also a key figure in the Stargate Project, a covert CIA program that delved into psychic phenomena and remote viewing.

But what I like about ESP Trainer is that it’s not just mindless entertainment. It’s a gateway to unlocking the psychic potential within us or at the very least, “Strengthening the wicked strong intuition already present in some.”

It encourages us to explore our clairvoyant abilities, which can have a profound impact on various aspects of our lives. I’ve even heard of people successfully applying these skills in high-stakes environments like Wall Street trading.

Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer, it really doesn’t matter. For me? It’s a handy tool I can use to shift my focus at times while reaping other personal benefits from it, especially during those wee morning hours like this morning, “When sleep was attempting to evade me.”
