Pacing cars and coffee: Navigating the unpredictable.

On my way home this evening I had a rather interesting thing happen by the courthouse. A car headed my way began pacing me for a good twenty feet. Thinking they might have wanted something, I slowed a bit and looked over at them, noting there was no car in front of them to warrant the action. As soon as I did, “They took off rather quickly!”

The heavy-footed action on the gas pedal was a bit strange, too, as no one was immediately behind them. It’s not the first time that’s happened. But… “Crazy, right?”

But… Aside from that little oddity, the walk home felt good. I don’t think we’re out of the woods with the rain. But sometimes, “Things change!”

My feeling as I sat at Hayek’s with my coffee was that it might be starting at some point this evening. But from what I can tell… There’s been nothing thus far.

It’s happened with the weather on more than one occasion over the past few years. All signs indicate one thing and then suddenly, “It’s totally different!”

At least I got home dry though. A few times, as I sat at the picnic table it crossed my mind that I might get caught in a downpour. But something told me I had plenty of time to just kick back and enjoy and, “Play with the WordPress app in my iPhone, too!”

I did get a fair amount of stuff done today, which I’m pleased with. The sleep thing… Well… “We shall see!”

But… At least I got moving a few hours earlier than 12 noon or 1:00 PM today. So, “That’s a plus!”

I’m damned if I’m going to get out of bed feeling guilty about it anymore though. “That ship has sailed!”

When I can sleep, I’ll sleep. When I get up is when I get up. It’s not like I have a set schedule every day. When I need to be some place at a specific time, “I always am!”

So… No. “There will be no more stressing over this sleep thing!”
