Silent phones and inaccessible reports: Loving state bureaucracy.

No phone call Friday or yesterday about the finalization of my brother’s accident investigation, as the little birdy had tweeted last week. But I was able to obtain an accident report from the South Dekota Highway Patrol this morning for $10.00 that doesn’t read worth a damn with a screen reader.

It’s totally amazing to me that state agencies in the United States can’t seem to get it together when it comes to accessibility with forms and documents. But… Maybe my contact in SD will be able to enlighten me on the finer points of what this thing says. “At least I know the accident investigation is done!”
